Probus was tasked with refurbishing and replacing the existing customer toilet block and welfare facilities at Ferry Meadows Café in the prestigious Nene Park of Peterborough after being awarded this project through a competitive tender.

A well-designed and specified project, presented by Butcher Bayley Architects, the refurbished facilities boast six new WC rooms, comprising three standard unisex WCs, two disabled access WCs and one Parent room with baby changing facilities.

All WC rooms incorporate new toilet and handwash facilities built into clean and modern IPS units. The entrance and lobby were upgraded with contemporary finishes, including park-inspired decals and automated access doors. Safety was a significant factor in this project as the adjoining Café remained operational throughout the project.
