In 2008, the Hambleton Bakery undertook a remarkable transformation, converting a disused 1950s repeater station into a bakery to produce top-quality traditionally-made bread, which later included a small shop at the front of the building. Probus was tasked with upgrading and refurbishing their existing artisan bakery and shop whilst they continued trading from the building.

Our project included upgrading and reconfiguring the staff areas, locker rooms and washrooms and converting the existing shop and storage area into a niche café and artisan shop.

We also installed new ovens, with the excess heat emanating from the operation of these being converted into heating for the entire building.
