The brief called for the conversion of three-storey offices in a historic part of Peterborough town centre into 6 no. 1&2 bedroom apartments for private sale.

The premises included a three storey building fronting onto Priestgate, a two storey adjoining building behind and a further adjoining single storey outhouse/garages at rear serviced by a very narrow accessway along the side.

The project required the complete internal strip out of all the buildings back to their existing structures together with the controlled removal of all asbestos.

The layout of the new apartments has seen a complete internal reconfiguration whilst the water supply was upgraded, all three roofs were resurfaced and all windows were repaired or replaced to match the existing.

The construction works in this sensitive location called for tightly managed deliveries and close liaison with the neighbouring properties.
